Inizia Centrodarte18 e riprende 50/50, la serie di mixtape creati insieme ai musicisti presenti in rassegna. Iniziamo con William Parker, che venerdì 2 febbraio 2018 sarà ospite del Centro d’Arte insieme a Peter Brötzmann e Hamid Drake.
Le scelte di Parker ripercorrono tutte le stagioni del free: dal Coltrane di Meditations a Cecil Taylor e Don Cherry, insieme agli avanguardisti puri Bill Dixon e Alan Silva. Completano la selezione altri cinque brani, scelti da Stefano Merighi del Centro d’Arte, che illustrano le mille sfaccettature della produzione musicale di William Parker.
